Michael Cecere has been serving alongside the Facilities Operations team at UCF for the past 12 years. Before joining UCF in 2006, Michael spent almost 9 years with the City of Clifton, NJ, where he was part of the team responsible for all facilities maintenance for city hall, the police department, six fire houses, recreation, and public works.
As part of his current role, Michael oversees all maintenance for the core buildings on campus which include all lab and classroom buildings. By working closely with his supervisors and staff, he ensures we are providing quality and timely service to our many departments. When he’s not at work, Michael enjoys spending time with his family visiting the local theme parks. He also enjoys playing golf and is an avid Marvel and Star Wars fan.
Michael is a proud Knight that brings hard work, determination, and a strong work ethic to all areas he is responsible for.
