The actual cost for any service request will depend on cost of materials required to complete the job, and the labor charges for the work performed by Facilities’ departments.

Annual Labor Rates can change due to a number of factors, including across-the-board merit increases, changes in overhead staff, and changes in the quantity of line employees. Facilities and Business Operations recalculates the rates every fiscal year for the following departments: Facilities Operations, Utilities and Energy Services, and Landscape and Natural Resources. The FY23 labor rates took effect on July 1, 2022. Note that except for keys, there is a one-hour minimum labor charge for all jobs.
