Amy Childs has been serving alongside the Facilities Operations team at UCF since November 2013. Originally from New Jersey, Amy graduated from Florida State University while majoring in Hospitality.
As part of her current role, Amy supports Housekeeping and Recycling Services by promoting initiatives and processes to help the team elevate the quality of work with greater consistency. Before working at Facilities Operations at UCF, Amy worked for Sheraton Hotels. Some of her career highlights include assisting in an organizational restructure to help increase cleanliness and trust with Housing services. She also implemented SOP’s, a new appearance policy, and established greater accountability for the F&S attendance policy. Amy enjoys how diverse each day is and she thrives when she’s given the opportunity to make a difference with her team.
