John McInerney has been serving alongside the Facilities Operations team at UCF for the past 12 years. Originally from Sayville, Long Island NY, John attended Hofstra University.
As part of his current role, John leads the Maintenance department and manages all of the activities that support Heating and Cooling on campus. Before working at Facilities Operations at UCF, John served at Automated Data Processing. Some of his career highlight include serving as the first superintendent at UCF’s College of Medicine Lake Nona Health Science campus. When he’s not at work, John enjoys spending his time with his family, bowling, and playing trivia games.
He’s a proud Knight who brings his hard work and dedication to work every day.
