Lauren Morris has been currently serving as the LNR Irrigation Coordinator at UCF since 2015. Originally from Tennessee, Lauren graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design.
As part of her current role, she oversees the irrigation installation and maintenance on campus, while managing the Rainbird Maxicom system that analyzes rainfall and weather to determine when the irrigation should operate. She also oversees the landscape installation team that completes demo and new landscape installation throughout the main campus. Before joining UCF, she spent her career in private industry managing irrigation systems in the Central Florida area. She is a Florida state certified Irrigation Contractor and is also a certified Irrigation Contractor and Certified Irrigation Landscape Auditor with the Irrigation Association. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family at the beach and watching college football.
