Meet Jason

Jason Wyckoff has been serving alongside the Facilities Operations team at UCF since early 2014. Originally from Titusville, FL, Jason graduated from UCF while majoring in Engineering and Business Management.

As part of his current role, Jason is in charge of implementing reliability based maintenance strategy for the FO department while also overseeing the CMMS system (AiM). Before working at Facilities Operations at UCF, Jason helped maintain launch facilities and processing spacecraft at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. While there, he assisted in the development of the reliability program for NASA which certified the evolved expendable launch vehicles (EELV) in time for the launch of the Pluto "New Horizons" mission. Some of his career highlights at the air force station include implementing standardized maintenance, a facility condition assessment program, a Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Program, and a Predictive Maintenance Program saving the government millions of dollars avoiding failures and unplanned downtime. With over 15 years’ experience and multiple predictive maintenance certifications he is a recognized leader in predictive maintenance and RCM. He has a published paper on infrared thermography and most recently led his team to win Uptime’s 2015 Reliability award for “Best Work Execution Management” within his first two years at UCF.
