Alberto Santoni joined the Facilities Operations team at UCF May 2017. Originally from Rincón, Puerto Rico, he has called Central Florida his home for the past 32 years. Alberto is a proud Knight having graduated from UCF with both a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Systems. He also holds a Florida Certified General Contractor’s license.

Before joining the FO team at UCF, Alberto was Director of Facilities for BRIDG (formerly ICAMR) in Kissimmee. In this role, he interfaced with design build teams, Osceola county and consulted in the construction of BRIDG’s new state of the art R&D facility. Prior to BRIDG, Alberto worked for TriQuint Semiconductor as a Facilities Engineer where he was part of the team that managed multi-million dollar equipment installations, as well as, cleanroom expansions at TriQuint’s Apopka site. He spent 10 years, with ATT, Bell Labs and later on with Lucent Technologies, both as a Photolithography Process Engineer and a R&D Engineer within the Bell Labs group.

When he’s not at work, Alberto enjoys spending time traveling with family and relaxing ocean side.
